MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING: 
NVES provides contract County and City Engineering services to our municipal clients.  Our engineers have served as County Public Works Directors and City Engineers overseeing various projects such as streetscape improvements, construction of fire stations, sewer and water projects, master plans, assessment districts and sidewalk replacement.  Our surveyors served as County and City Surveyors as well and have hands-on experience performing these functions. 

SURVEYING AND MAPPING:
Boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys and mapping, topographic surveys and mapping, tentative maps, parcel maps, subdivision maps, records of surveys, lot line adjustments and flood elevation certificates.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION:
Value engineering, contract administration for private and public contracts, construction inspection and quality control.

STREETS AND ROADS:
Design of street sections including intersections layout, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveways.  

DRAINAGE:
Design of drainage conveyance systems including detention facilities outfall structures, storm water treatment facilities and pump stations.

WATER SYSTEMS:
Plan and design of water distribution systems along with wells and pumps.

WASTEWATER SYSTEMS:
Plan and design collection systems including gravity and pressure sewer lines.  Design of conventional and non-conventional onsite sewage disposal systems.

LAND DEVELOPMENT:
Prepare and process land entitlement applications and prepare improvement plans for subdivisions, commercial and office development, use permits, variances and planned development.

VALUE ENGINEERING AND ESTIMATES:
Evaluation of projects to ensure that our clients are receiving the project that best meets their needs within budgeted amounts.  Prepare and review construction cost estimates for projects.
